They can be easily added to dry formulations to support the hardness, adhesion and strength of the end product. They are compatible with a broad range of dry additives and remain stable in alkaline formulations. SILRES® POWDER additives can also be used in liquid systems.

One portfolio – two technologies
Not all powders are created equal. Our SILRES® POWDER additives portfolio includes silane-based product grades manufactured using two distinct technologies: In SILRES® POWDER A, the active substance is located on the surface of an inorganic carrier. In SILRES® POWDER D and SILRES® POWDER E, the active substance is encapsulated.

SILRES® POWDER is available in three product grades – each designed to deliver optimal water repellency and performance in modern construction materials. All grades are suitable for both powder and liquid systems.

- Water-dispersible hydrophobic powders with excellent efficiency and workability
- Effective even at low (SILRES® POWDER D) or very low (SILRES® POWDER E) concentrations
- Preserve vapor permeability for breathable systems
- Enhance the water repellency and dirt resistance of mineral-based construction materials
- Ideal for use in in ETICS basecoats and topcoats, stuccos and plasters, precast concrete, decorative concrete overlays and mineral-based powder paints.
