Sougata Bhattacharya
Sougata Bhattacharya has been associated with WACKER METROARK CHEMICALS Pvt. Ltd. since 2004 and is based at the Amtala Plant near Kolkata. He is currently responsible for leading the technical service team, customer training and the formulation and application development of all market segments in the Silicones division, including Consumer Care, Textiles, Chemical Industry, Elastomers, Construction and Coatings. He has a Master of Science in Chemistry from Calcutta University.
Dr. Santu Dey
Dr. Santu Dey has been with WACKER since 2014. He was appointed as a scientist for R&D in the Performance Silicones division. He has worked on developing emulsions for personal care applications and the formulation and application development of household care products. In his current role, he is in charge of technical services and the formulation development of silicone elastomers in industrial solutions. He has extensive knowledge of silicone elastomers for mold making and industrial, automotive, healthcare, technical textile and various rubber applications. He holds a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Jadavpur University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kharagpur). He has about nine years of experience at Wacker. Dr. Santu Dey has been involved in training activities for customers, distributors and WACKER colleagues in his current role.
Ayndrila Dutta
Ayndrila Dutta has worked for Wacker Metroark Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. as a Technical Service Manager at the Technical Center Kolkata since 2005. She is responsible for leading the personal care technical service team, customer training, formulation and application development for consumer care products. She has a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from University College of Science, Technology and Agriculture, Kolkata.
Sharmistha Ghosh
Sharmistha Ghosh has been associated with WACKER as a technical service executive at the Mumbai Technical Center since 2021. She is responsible for customer training, formulation development and application development in Construction Chemicals. She holds a master’s degree in Polymer Science from CIPET Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Surabhi Jain
Surabhi Jain joined WACKER in 2020 as Manager Technical Services for Mumbai Technical Center. She holds a M.Tech. degree in Polymer Science & Technology from Indian Institute of Technology- IIT Delhi. She has about 12 years of experience in construction chemicals and applications. She supports for training customers in applications for Plaster, Skimcoat and Waterproofing membrane.
Saulat Khan
Gokul Kumar M.
Gokul Kumar M. has been a technical service executive at WACKER since 2018. His activities are focused on engineering fabrics, coatings and VINNOL®, for which he conducts on-site and in-house training. He holds a master’s degree in Textile Technology.
Raghvendra Singh Pal
Raghvendra Singh Pal started at WACKER in 2013 as a technical manager for Elastomers and was the person responsible for India and South East Asia. He now heads the Elastomer business for India and the subcontinent. He has extensive knowledge in silicone elastomers for energy, automotive, healthcare, technical textile and various rubber applications. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Chemistry and an M.Tech degree in Plastics Engineering.
Nibha Singh
Nibha Singh has been with WACKER since 2017, working as a technical service executive for the Adhesives, Solid Resins and Biopolymers market segments. In Adhesives, she is responsible for adhesive applications like paper packaging and wood adhesives; in Solid Resins, she focuses on applications such as low-profile additives for composites and industrial applications. She holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemistry and Paint Technology from UDCT, as well as an MBA from Welingkar.
Dr. Abhijit Tarafdar
Dr. Abhijit Tarafdar has been associated with WACKER as a technical service manager in Amtala, West Bengal since 2014. He is responsible for leading the technical service team, customer training and the formulation and application development of Construction Silicones and Decorative Coatings. He has a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal.
