Presence | Customers
This seminar covers the potential uses and advantages of polymeric binders in self-leveling flooring compounds (SLCs).
Basic knowledge of chemistry
- Overview of different SLCs
- Introduction to the function of mineral and polymeric binders
- Requirements for modern SLCs (European standards, emissions and test methods)
- Laboratory training on the properties of fresh mortar and of cured SLCs; test methods covered as well
Self-leveling flooring compounds must be quick and easy to use, while yielding the smoothest possible surfaces. At the same time, their use in applications must maintain a balance between quality, formulation costs and reliability. As the world leader in high-quality polymeric binders, WACKER POLYMERS meets these needs with specially developed product classes hallmarked by outstanding flow properties.
