Power of Collaboration in Silicone Coating of Paper
Webinar | Kunden & Distributoren
Seminarbeschreibung
As energy costs continue to rise and raw materials suitable for silicone curing catalysts become increasingly scarce, the need for more efficient and resilient solutions has never been greater. In response, UPM Specialty Papers and Wacker Silicones have joined forces to unlock the full performance potential of an advanced release liner base.
Historically, silicone anchorage has been the key limiting factor in enabling full flexibility in release coating formulation. Today, this challenge can be overcome. An enhanced base paper developed by UPM Specialty Papers—combined with newly engineered X linkers from Wacker—has demonstrated significant improvements in curing speed, catalyst lean formulation design, and the ability to fine tune catalyst triggering temperatures.
In this webinar, we will explore how these advancements were achieved and discuss how they can help make your silicone coating process more efficient, resilient, and cost effective.
