Research is a longstanding tradition at WACKER. Back in 1903, Alexander Wacker founded the “Consortium für die elektrochemische Industrie” – which serves as the Group’s central research facility to this day. WACKER invests between 4 and 5% of sales in R&D, making it one of the chemical sector’s most research-intensive companies.
