WACKER’s plant in Cologne was established in 1960. It is located in the northern part of Cologne, near the city section of Merkenich and in close proximity to the Ford automotive plants. The plant has its own dock on the Rhine river in order to receive deliveries of important raw materials.
Two other companies are also situated in an industrial park located on the site premises. WACKER operates a plant for producing vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE) dispersions for the adhesives, coatings & paint and nonwovens industries.
