Dr. Wacker will step down as CEO at Wacker Chemie AG’s Annual Shareholder Meeting on May 8, 2008. At the same time, he will run for the office of Supervisory Board chairman.

The paleontologist’s assistant, fossil preparator Hans Luginsland, uses WACKER silicone rubber compounds to make intricate molds from fossil impressions, sometimes on-site.
