2011 will be witnessing the 25th anniversary of Food Ingredients (Fi) Europe, the major European tradeshow for food ingredient manufacturers. This year’s show will be taking place in Paris from November 29 – December 1, 2011.
WACKER at the Fi Europe
Fi Europe is an ideal venue for WACKER to premiere an innovative solution for stabilizing water-in-oil emulsions by means of alpha-cyclodextrins. These ring-shaped, bio-engineered starch molecules are perfect as emulsifiers for oil-based and water-based foodstuffs prone to phase separation, such as salad dressings, cream-based desserts, and margarine. What’s more, they belong to the group of dietary fibers (roughage). Thanks to their soluble nature, these fibers can, for example, be added to beverages.
Fermenter cysteine for processing dough or making meat flavorings rounds out our Fi Europe portfolio.
