research in functional materials

Functional Materials

The goal is to discover and develop new materials for the following technology platforms:
  • Electronics and photonics
  • Energy generation and storage
Current fields of business are expanded on the basis of existing WACKER material platforms.
Projects range from raw material characterization up to production and testing of application-related components and devices. New functional materials reinforce the Group's innovative strength and contribute to positive business growth.
