SEMICOSIL® UV is a unique platinum catalyst, specially developed for the microelectronics industry. This new addition-curing silicone is inactive in the dark. Upon irradiation with UV light, it cures within seconds to minutes at room temperature. In addition to ultra-fast curing, the system ensures that properties of the cured product are not influenced, forms no by-products and makes curing of thick layers possible. Thus, compared to conventional silicones, SEMICOSIL® UV enables even higher speed and efficiency for large-scale series production.
