WACKER silicone rubbers can be used at 180 °C for very long periods. Special silicone rubber grades can even be used up to 300 °C for short periods, or 250 °C for longer times. The pigmentability of silicone rubbers provides excellent versatility in terms of color and design variations for use as exposed cables. The material's high mechanical strength also allows it to be installed with narrow bending radii. Special silicone rubbers permit breakdown resistances up to 30 kV/mm.
