Water and Dirt Repellency

Cleaning curtains and carpets needn’t always be time-consuming and expensive. When the right additives are used, carpets and curtains that have been laundered or cleaned remain clean and fresh for longer because they have been effectively equipped with water and dirt repellency. The best results are obtained by using hydrosol emulsions for carpet cleaners and silica gel dispersions for curtain detergents. WACKER supplies efficient products that can be conveniently added to the rinse cycle to restore the water and dirt repellency of fabrics. A separate heating step is not needed for the full effect to be obtained.
