Screen Printing Screen Printing

The printing plates used in screen printing are mesh stencils made of fine steel, bronze, plastic or natural silk mesh. The substrate and stencil are pressed firmly together. Applied by the ink unit or squeegee, the ink is forced through the mesh onto the object to be printed. Screen printing is the chosen technique for high print strength combined with extraordinary brilliance.
All high-molecular VINNOL® grades (from K value 48 on) are suitable for screen printing, because they meet increased demands on durability.
Hydrophilic or hydrophobic HDK® grades in screen printing prevent pigment settling and regulate the viscosity.
