VINNOL® adheres to all kinds of plastic substrates. Resistance to abrasion, chemicals or light, pigmentability, good compatibility with other systems or flexibility – all these specifications are met efficiently by this WACKER product line, facilitating the formulation of outstanding plastic coatings and primers.
In Shoe-Sole Coatings VINNOL® contributes the necessary flexibility and also promotes adhesion, abrasion resistance and gloss. In artificial-leather applications, VINNOL® provides the material with protective properties and gloss, while additionally preventing brittleness. In the field of Rigid Plastic, enormous benefits are derived from VINNOL® acting as co-binders in acrylic plastic coatings for plastics, such as PS, ABS, PMMA, PVC and PC: our products enable optimum adhesion, including intercoat adhesion, are extremely resistant to chemicals, abrasion and light, and have good pigmentability.
