Heat-Resistant Coatings

SILRES^® silicone resins confer outstanding properties on protective coatings and exhaust systems, especially those which are continuously exposed to extreme temperatures and rapid temperature fluctuations. The properties of heat-resistant coating systems are determined mainly by the constituent binders, fillers and pigments. Coatings formulated on SILRES^® silicone resins readily withstand temperatures in excess of 600 °C without being destroyed or suffering adhesion failure.
