Automotive Refinishes

HDK® serves as rheological additive for automotive finishes and refinishes. The type of application, e.g. filler, topcoat, clearcoat or powder coat and the binder system (water-based or solvent-based), determine whether hydrophilic or hydrophobic HDK® grades are used. The HDK® is added in concentrations of 0.1 to approx. 1 %.
