ELASTOSIL® HTV

ELASTOSIL^® LR liquid silicone rubbers products are two-part silicone rubber grades (50:50), which can be fully automatically injection molded without secondary processing. They are generally platinum curing and vulcanize under heat and pressure. They are ideal for manufacturing parts in large volumes, achieving low unit costs. Self-adhesive liquid silicone rubber grades that bond to many plastics and metals without a primer or adhesive are particularly advantageous, since they can be used for parts combining multiple functions, such as hard-soft combinations or membrane components.

ELASTOSIL^® FLR fluorinated liquid silicone rubbers are particularly resistant to corrosive fluids, such as engine oils and fuels. They are primarily used in the automotive sector.

ELASTOSIL^® R solid silicone rubbers cure by peroxide. They can be processed by conventional methods, such as extrusion, calendering, compression and transfer molding, or injection molding. They cure under heat and pressure and are ideal for manufacturing a variety of silicone rubber articles.

ELASTOSIL^® Rplus platinum-catalyzed, addition-curing solid silicone rubbers

The products in this series offer the advantages of solid silicone rubbers together with those of addition-curing liquid silicone rubbers, namely outstanding mechanical properties and good compression set - with high throughput and reduced post-conditioning times.
