Pyrogenic silica plant operator at the Zhangjiagang (China) site. Pyrogenic silica are produced by the introduction of chlorosilanes into an oxyhydrogen flame. Chemically, fumed silica consists of ultrapure amorphous silicon dioxide and has the appearance of a light white powder.
