A good vocational training program is your stepping-stone to job security. At WACKER, you can enroll in a rigorous and certified training program suited to your academic qualifications and personal strengths. There is a variety of chemical, technical and commercial professions to choose from. After completing your vocational course, you may wish to continue climbing the career ladder at one of WACKER's sites. Programs are offered in a variety of fields in Burghausen, Nünchritz, Freiberg and Munich.

WACKER has the largest program of any chemical company in Bavaria. In addition to programs for first-time trainees at the Burghausen Vocational Training Center (BBiW) , we also offer a range of advanced courses. Institutions and other companies may send trainees to our center in preparation for careers in chemistry, physics, commerce and technical fields.

The WACKER dormitory in Burghausen offers housing to first-time vocational trainees and is staffed by experienced advisers. In addition to 76 comfortable bedrooms, there are common rooms featuring internet access and televisions. A common kitchen and a breakfast buffet are also offered. If enough rooms are available, participants up to 25 years of age may live in the dormitory. Vocational trainees who must briefly relocate to Munich for training purposes may live in one of three WACKER apartments free of charge.
