Chemists

Graduate Engineers
Regardless of where you start at WACKER, as a graduate engineer you have ample opportunity for career development thanks to in-house employee placement and job rotation. In return, we expect team players with good negotiation skills, interdisciplinary knowledge and a knack for efficiency.
For example, as a works engineer you could play a leading management team or operational group role by enhancing a plant's technical performance, reliability and safety.
As a development engineer you would enable the industrial-scale implementation of ideas, research findings and collective expertise but also help coordinate process optimization.
Environmental compatibility, industrial safety and efficiency are core responsibilities of project engineers, who plan and construct processing plants in close cooperation with other engineers. We are always on the lookout for experienced and knowledgeable process engineers. You would supervise in-house manufacturing and help optimize production results and quality assurance. Our process engineers also play a key role in implementing and perfecting plant operations.
IT Specialists
Designing, Developing, Planning, Coordinating, Managing, Assuring Quality. It is within this framework that our IT specialists continually raise the bar thanks to their remarkably diverse set of creative and specialized skills. If you come onboard, you will be responsible for technological and organizational requirements in the system area. Your duties would include the following: designing and providing infrastructure and application architectures; coordinating essential processes; developing standards for software and hardware as well as web-based applications; and evaluating IT trends.
